Notes/Domino 6 and 7 Forum : RE: Solaris 8 Sparc Lotus Notes 6 error on listener bindsock helper application is missing

Hi

again I have to write the message because it seems that the forum has a problem with the size of the message...anyway fact is:

- the executable bindsock is installed and ther in the dir sunspa

- the bindsock file has the permission r-sr-xr-x root bin it means the root user is the owner and root can execute it.

- the server was started not as root the server was started as user msnotes

I have no idea whats going on. I tried to truss the whole thing and there are errors but I cant resolve the errors. I think there is a Solaris 8 package missing or a service needed is not installed or not started....! There is anywhere a minimum list of Package/Service it must be installed? Bellow you will see the truss (not all but the beginning). Any ideas recommandations or what should I do...?
